03.3 — E-COMMERCE

The closest orbit to the Sun, and the fastest.

Mercury takes its name from the god of merchants and circles the Sun in 88 days; the fastest lap is its own. In e-commerce, too, speed is what wins. So we build stores that load fast, check out fast and ship fast.

Why Mercury?

Mercury is the planet closest to the Sun and the one that completes its orbit fastest; a year on Mercury lasts only 88 days. The Romans named it after the god of merchants, travelers and messengers. That is exactly the job of an online store: getting the product to the customer by the shortest route, as fast as possible.

What stores do we build?

How does it work?

First we map out your product structure, your sales channels and everything that happens after the order: where stock is kept, how invoices are issued, who handles shipping. We settle the store’s design around the product page and the checkout step, then set up the payment, shipping, e-invoicing and marketplace integrations. Before launch we test end to end with real payment and refund scenarios.

Technology

For ready-made platforms we use Shopify and WooCommerce; for custom stores, Next.js, Angular or Vue on the front end, Node.js, Go, .NET or PHP (Laravel) on the back end, and MongoDB or Supabase for the database; the store’s mobile app is built with Flutter. Payments run through Stripe, PayPal, Adyen and Klarna, invoicing through e-invoicing providers and your accounting software, and shipping through carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx or Swiss Post.

Frequently asked questions

A ready-made platform or a store built just for you?

For standard catalogs, we set up ready-made platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce and customize them for your brand. If you need dealer pricing, a B2B ordering flow or heavy integration, the store is developed specifically for you. We decide together which one fits at the first meeting.

Which payment methods do you support?

Credit and debit cards with 3D Secure, bank transfer (including SEPA), invoice payment and buy now, pay later with Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We work with Stripe, PayPal, Adyen and Klarna.

Will my stock stay in sync across marketplaces?

Yes. When a product sells on one channel, its stock drops automatically on every other channel; orders are gathered in a single dashboard.

Can you move my existing store to the new system?

Yes. Product, customer and order data are migrated, and redirects from the old page addresses to the new ones preserve your search engine rankings.

How long does it take to launch a store?

Usually 3–5 weeks on a ready-made platform; custom-built stores with heavy integration launch in 2–4 months.
